We are staffed with veteran strength and conditioning coaches who are certified through organizations such as the National Strength and Conditioning Association, USA Weightlifting, and USATF. Combined, these coaches have helped prepare athletes from the high school level to division 1 college and professional ranks, for such sports as wrestling, mixed martial arts, football, ice hockey, lacrosse and track and field.

Our coaches also have extensive experience designing and implementing comprehensive training programs for weekend warriors and general fitness enthusiasts looking to make a serious long-term commitment to their health. We design every program with attention to joint mobility, power/strength development, cardiovascular conditioning and flexibility, all in the perfect combinations for each individual client.

David Coffin

Dave Coffin has close to a decade of experience as a strength and conditioning coach. He received his Exercise Physiology degree from the University of Massachusetts and is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist with the National Strength and Conditioning Association as well as a Certified Sports Performance Coach through USA Weightlifting. His athletic background includes wrestling, football, baseball and most recently strongman. Dave has extensive experience cliental includes high school and college level athletes as well as general fitness enthusiasts. Dave excels at designing comprehensive training programs addressing joint mobility, power/strength development, cardiovascular conditioning and flexibility, all in the perfect combinations for each individual client. Whether your goal is athletic development or physique enhancement, Dave will help you reach your goals faster than you ever thought possible.

John Sullivan

For over 10 years, John has been helping a vast array of clients with various fitness and athletic goals achieve and exceed their expectations. His forte is developing specialized programming to meet the specific needs of each individual client. John has lectured extensively on topics relating to fitness and athletic performance, including talks at the University of Massachusetts Boston and the National Strength & Conditioning Associating Fall Clinic.

Sharon Shiner

Sharon has over 20 years of experience in the fitness world, first as a student in the late 80s and then moving to be an instructor, coach and mentor in the early 90s. She studied biology and received her Master’s of Science degree in Biology from New York University. Sharon is an ACE certified personal trainer, a TRX Team coach, Madd Dog Athletic Star 2 Spinning instructor, and a Level II StrongFirst Hardstyle Kettlebell instructor; she has also studied movement and has completed level 1 workshops in Original Strength and Ground Force Method (formerly Primal Move). In addition to being passionate about fitness, Sharon is also passionate about food. She attended the Professional Chef program Cambridge School of Culinary Arts and has certifications as a Personal Fitness Chef and Children’s Nutrition Specialist. She ran a successful personal chef business for almost 5 years called Thyme to Cook. Sharon is dedicated to helping her clients move better, get stronger and feel better.
